Why College?

       Why did i choose to attend college? I believe attending college is one of the most important decisions of your life. I decided to come to JSU because it was close enough to home but far enough away, a nice place, and i felt at home here. It was also a huge expectation from my family and friends to attend college.
       There are many reasons why college is a good decision is life and I believe the most important one is to further your education. For me to get a good job not only to support myself but maybe a family one day, I need to get a good degree that can eventually provide me with a good career. There are so man opportunities for college graduates than high school graduates.
       Another reason i decided to attend college is because i want to learn more about what i am passionate about. I want to someday become a Pediatric Nurse in a doctor's office. I have taken some classes in high school and it has grabbed my interest. By attending college, i can further my knowledge about Nursing and eventually become one. 
        Lastly, I decided to attend college to meet more people and kind of start a new life. I loved the people i went to high school with, but i have grown up with all of them and been around them all way too long. I thought it was time to move away and meet some new people and make the "life-long" friends they say you meet in college. I have recently joined a sorority and so far has been amazing and i have already met some great friends i can tell will be in my life for a long time.
       College is a part of life that makes you a better person as a whole. I believe college will do a lot for me. Choosing college has been the best decision of my life and i can not way to see what it has in store for me!
